چکیده

Abstract Nanofiltration is one of the most widely used membrane processes for water purification with high practical value because a large number chemical species that are separated through this process. Usually, nanofiltration, energy–consuming operations involved including generation enough pressure rejection jumps and lower molecular weight chemicals at surface membrane. Recent developments in synthesis nanocomposite membranes graphene derivatives have led to an increase energy requirements performances. In present review, we presented recent advances field graphene-based composite nanofiltration applications both types based solvents—aqueous solutions organic solvents. The presentation will be focused especially on performances these materials salts (Na + , Mg 2+ ), heavy metals (Li compounds (methylene blue, Congo red, Direct Red, Methyl orange, Reactive green 13, etc.). Modern methods like interfacial polymerization obtaining thin-film also presented.

Cellulose Acetate Nanofiltration Membranes for Cadmium Remediation

In this work, cellulose acetate (CA) nanofiltration (NF) membranes were prepared via non-solvent phase inversion technique (NIPS). Polymer concentration was varied from 22 to 25 wt% in order to study its effect on the membrane properties. The fabricated membranes were characterized in terms of morphological analysis using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), contact angle, water content, water p...

Ultrafast Nanofiltration through Large-Area Single-Layered Graphene Membranes.

Perforated single-layered graphene has demonstrated selectivity and flux that is orders of magnitude greater than state-of-the-art polymer membranes. However, only individual graphene sheets with sizes up to tens of micrometers have been successfully fabricated for pressurized permeation studies. Scaling-up and reinforcement of these atomic membranes with minimum cracks and pinholes remains a m...

Preparation of Novel Thin-Film Composite Nanofiltration Membranes for Separation of Amoxicillin

Several novel composite membranes were prepared to separate and recycle amoxicillin from pharmaceutical wastewater via nanofiltration process. The synthesis of these membranes included three stages: 1- preparation of polysulfone ultrafiltration membranes as a support via phase separation process, 2- modification of its surface by interfacial polymerization as a selective layer (polyamide), and ...
